Better Tomorrow

Ethos recycling will create a local solution in the Peel Region for a better tomorrow through:

  • Innovative waste management
  • Changing people's recycling behaviour
  • Reducing landfill
  • Enabling new jobs, real skills and a sense of purpose.

From 1st October 2020, the Del Park Roadhouse will become the home of Ethos Recycling; one of WA's first refund points under the State-wide Containers for Change scheme. The new Ethos Recycling facility will operate as part of the Del Park Roadhouse site, with current Roadhouse and yard facilities extended and upgraded.

It's not waste. It's a resource!

The market of recycled materials is greatly influenced by their quality. Properly-sorted recycled materials that are free from contamination hold a significantly higher market value.

Recent reports estimate that Australia could be missing out on up to $324 million of value that could be extracted from the waste in our kerbside bins each year. Instead of 'waste' we need consumers to see a tradable asset, a commodity with a market value.

Ethos Recycling is part of the solution by providing:

  • A mobile container collection service;
  • A permanent over the counter refund service;
  • An aggregation point for beverage containers.
